The Bay of Bengal Gateway (BBG) is a submarine communications cable providing a direct trunk connection between Barka (Sultanate of Oman) and Penang (Malaysia) with four branches to Fujairah (UAE), Mumbai (India), Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Chennai (India).
